Our services

How we help

Every program is delivered by trained staff or volunteers with relevant language and cultural capability, with referrals to specialist services. Support is free and based on assessed need.

Our flagship program

Employment support — work in your field, not just any job

When skilled people migrate, their qualifications too often go unrecognised and they end up in survival jobs far below their training. Our employment program exists to help newcomers return to meaningful employment in their area of expertise — and to help international students build career foundations while they study.

What we help with

  • Career mapping — matching your overseas qualifications and experience to the Australian market
  • Australian-style résumés & cover letters employers respond to
  • Interview preparation and practice, with cultural and language confidence
  • Qualification recognition, registration, licensing and bridging guidance
  • Internships and work experience to build local references
  • Employer and network connections + referrals to training and employment services
  • Job-readiness for international students — guidance, referrals and internships

Who it's for

New migrants in need facing barriers to employment — language, cultural unfamiliarity, unrecognised qualifications, or lack of local networks — and who don't otherwise have access to this support.

Also for international students studying in Australia who need guidance, referrals, internships and job-readiness support.

How it's delivered: by volunteers, facilitators and external providers with relevant industry, language and cultural capability. Free, based on assessed need.

Confidential support

Family & crisis support

We provide confidential, trauma-informed support to people from migrant communities experiencing family hardship, distress or unsafe situations at home — including those facing financial hardship, isolation or language barriers.

Community education

Preventing harm before it starts

Alongside direct support, we provide education, training and information to migrant communities across Australia about domestic and family violence — what it is, where to find help, and how situations of harm can be reduced and prevented.

Delivered through community information sessions and culturally appropriate resources, in partnership with community leaders and specialist services, aimed especially at communities at risk of harm.

New arrivals often need documents witnessed or certified to access services, employment, study or settlement matters. We can help.

Justice of the Peace (JP)

A qualified Justice of the Peace can witness statutory declarations and affidavits, and certify copies of original documents. As required in NSW, this service is provided free of charge.

Confirm the appointed JP's name and registration before publishing.

Notary Public

For documents intended for use overseas, notarising is carried out through public notaries. An appointed Notary Public can notarise and authenticate documents as required. A standard fee may apply for notarial services.

Confirm the appointed Notary's name and any fee schedule before publishing.

Both services are by appointment. Contact us to arrange a time.
